Product Description The Bell Alibi Youth Bike Helmet is constructed of an EPS foam layer bonded to a microshell using an inmold process, making the helmet both sturdy and solid. It's adjustable ErgoDial fit system, which can be operated with one hand, provides a snug and comfortable fit. The straps around the ears are easy to adjust with locking levers and the Pinchguard buckle that secures the helmet under the chin is specifically designed to prevent kids from pinching their necks. The helmet is equipped with a detachable, snap-in visor and 23 air vents. The colorful Alibi is a universal youth size, fitting heads from 19.75 to 22.5-inches (50 to 57-centimeters). Helmet Tips--You Should Always... - Wear a helmet when you ride
- Wear your helmet low in the front to protect the forehead
- Fasten your buckle and tighten your chin strap
- Check your adjustments every time you wear your helmet
- Inspect your helmet regularly for signs of wear or damage
- Wear a helmet designed for your activity

This is the brand of bike helmets we purchase for every member of our family. The model here is great. It fits so neatly that my daughter can hang upside down without the chin strap buckled and the helmet won't fall off (we tried this just for fun to see if it would work.) The helmet stays in place during any activity or a crash. It's comfortable, reasonably cool with the vents, and has very good safety ratings.
Youth Helmet January 21, 2009 Peg (Anaheim, CA) I ordered two helmets for my grandchildren for Christmas. They looked well made and were colorful and modern.
However my grandchildren preferred another style and did not like this particular style.
I suppose it is a matter of what their friends are currently wearing that makes the difference to them, as these were nice looking helmets.
I have shipped them back and asked for a refund.

Very nice helmet. But it's not blue with lavender flowers as it appears in the picture. The whole thing is a lavender color with whitish/lavender flowers.
