This Helmet saved my life I went over the handlebars of my bike sent about 12 feet hit the ground headfirst I weigh about 230 so I would be dead had I not worn this helmet.I'm amazed at the quality of this product Highly Reccomend!!
saved my head March 11, 2007 William Winderweedle (Sugar Land, TX USA) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
I had a wreck 3 weeks ago and the helmet did its job. My head hit the pavement on a fall during a training ride. The foam cracked instead of my skull. Many thanks to Bell for making a reasonably priced and effective product.
I have a big head... November 11, 2006 Ron R. Santua 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
...and could never find a decent helmet. All the others pinched the side of my skull as if they expected me to have a peanut shaped noggin. Then, one day as I was admiring the gray hairs starting to sprout on my sides I realized my head was not spherical but that I had a natural bump on the right side. I'm no phrenologist (i.e., head bump reading fortune teller) but I could tell this helmet was in my future, snug, light, unobtrusive and stylish. Moral: knobby, big headed cyclist stop here.
GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY. February 10, 2006 C. Cain Jr. 14 out of 18 found this review helpful
I don't like to wear a helmet. If you are smart you will. The Bell Radar is light, comfortable, stylish and inexpensive. I don't plan on seeing how it will hold up under a crash, but based upon the design, it should. If I were riding in the mountains, or needed extra protection, I would upgrade to one of Bells more expensive products. This one will be fine for me.
Do I have to wear this? May 5, 2008 Michele Christmas (Jacksonville, FL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
That is what I said when I was told that I should get a bike helmet when I decided that I wanted to get a bike. But I am so happy that I followed my friends advice and ordered it, it came to me quicker than my bike did, I put it on and the fit is great and I even fell off my bike and my head hit the ground and it was well protected. I happen to be in the store to get a bag for my bike and I saw a Bell helmet and it was way more expensive than what I paid from Amazon. Thanks for the savings.
